The Group2FA App presents a streamlined approach to managing two-step authentication (2FA) for online accounts. Designed for individuals and organizations alike, it facilitates the secure sharing of access to accounts that require 2FA among family, friends, clients, employees, and co-workers across more than 30 countries.

Users who regularly share logins and passwords for platforms such as streaming services, banking, and various online services can establish groups within the app. This feature allows trusted members to access essential authentication information, including SMS-based One-time Passcodes (OTP) and Verification Codes generated by Authenticator Apps.

For accounts utilizing an Authenticator App for generating 2FA passcodes, Group2FA enables users to add these codes by scanning provided QR codes directly into the platform. Access can be granted to individual Group2FA Number groups or through a dedicated Authenticator Group. This way, when necessary, trusted members can easily request a One-Time Passcode via the app.

Group2FA Numbers offer a straightforward method to share SMS One-time Passcodes within a trusted network. Upon subscribing, users are assigned an exclusive SMS-capable phone number. After adding members to the group, users simply update the 2FA phone number for their accounts to the new Group2FA Number. Consequently, when an account sends an SMS message to the Group2FA Number, all group members receive the One-Time Passcode via in-app notifications or as SMS or WhatsApp messages sent directly to their phones.
